Ansel Adams Post

Adam didn't really fit into school very well, he had dyslexia, and tried a lot of schools that his parents made him go to. Eventually he was tutored at home by his father and aunt, he also earned a diploma that basically meant he completed 8th grade, at a private school he went to. He also played the piano for a long time, but gave up being a musician for being a photographer. In spring 1927, Adams took his first visualized photograph, The Face of the Half Dome. Ansel helped create Kings Canyon National Park in California which was made in 1940. He also won the Guggenheim Fellowship for Creative Arts, US and Canada award. He met his wife when he started to stop by the Best Home, back when he was a pianist and a few years later they got married.

I choose this photo by Ansel because it is so beautiful. Without color, you can really notice the shading on the canyons. The clouds in the photo really pop, you can see how white they are compared to the rest of the scenery. The black and white make the picture look more dramatic.
